The Unicorn Who Tried Again
A tiny unicorn learns that practising is its own kind of magic.
Poppy the unicorn wanted to make the biggest rainbow jump in Sparkle Meadow.
She ran, she leapt, and she landed in a very soft pile of daisies. Plop!
Poppy shook petals from her mane. ‘I will try again,’ she said.
Every day she practised. Little jumps. Wobbly jumps. Brave jumps. Funny jumps.
At last, Poppy leapt so high that her hooves painted a rainbow across the sky.
All the butterflies cheered. Poppy smiled because she knew the best magic was not the rainbow. It was trying and trying again.
